Hi! I hope this post finds you healthy and safe. I was waiting to get settled to make the announcement about the studio move but once we finally got settled in the coronavirus pandemic happened. It seems quite awkward to mention or celebrate this new move in any way. I finally decided to post because a few people have asked me where I am since they see a new business in my old downtown studio space. So I think I need to mention it here quietly and then maybe do an open house/official announcement later when this all passes.
We actually moved two days before Christmas which made the transition even more crazy but its over… 18 months later! I now have a cute little studio located in Pleasant Prairie. Its on our property but not connected to house. I am also just located a few blocks from Lake Michigan and less than six miles from downtown which will allow me to easily combine studio/outdoor sessions like I used to at my previous location. The studio resides on 10 acres which once was an apple orchard. I have so many plans for creating areas for outdoor sessions on this property. Its going to take awhile to tame the land; however since I have all the boys home; I am putting them to work already. :) They aren’t crazy about this at all and probably would rather be in school then doing this manual labor.
As soon as this shelter at home order is lifted, I am looking forward to getting back to shooting and hope to see you all soon. If you wanted to plan ahead and book your session in advance, I would love to hear from you. You can go online to book here. . .
